These are the earliest Halloween pictures of us. I think this was the first year we dressed up. Jim is a fireman and John is a black cat. The Date on the pictures is two days before Halloween because we were wearing them to school. Jim's 'fireman coat' is actually one of my granddad's shirts!
The next day we went to a Halloween party at someone's house. John wore the same thing, Jim changed and was a ghost, Sue wore the fireman outfit and Kathy was a little witch. I remember mom sewing this stuff. By the way, if a lot of these kids look alike to you, you're right! Mom belonged to the Twin Mothers Club and this was one of their parties. I have no clue who these other kids are anymore.
This isn't really Halloween, it's around Christmas time. My Granddad used to call us his "little monsters" and one day we dressed as monsters and went upstairs. We made these ourselves -- the first costume we ever made!
