This may not look like much, but this was a big step towards what we now do.  The masks are plastic model kits from Pressman.  Looking back, this probably wasn't all that safe since the things were all held together by model cement and we were breathing it all night.

The red one on the left is Jim and the purple one on the right is John.

Jim grabbed the top staff of a parade flag we had to use as a spear.  Once again Mom came through and sewed the robes and capes.

Well, the masks didn't last the whole night.  Here's Jim's emergency ghoul costume.  Gotta keep gettin the loot!

And speaking of loot, this was our take for the evening.  If you look close you can see the toothbrushes the dentist gave us every year (really) and the toys we got at the Marx mansion.  Off to the right are the pennies we got.  We didn't get the cat trick-or-treating, we always had her.
